Harbinger
That
first band that was a real band. It's amazing what you could accomplish
in Toronto playing covers back in the late 70s. I didn't even have a
real bass amp when I joined them in May of 1976, but by the time I left
in July of 1978 we owned a huge pa, a lighting system with Genie towers,
a 22' box truck with a sleeper, a van, and we employed 3 full time crew
dudes. These were the 4 sets a night, 6 nights a week days, where you'd
play the club for a whole week. Talk about stories. This was probably
as close as I ever got to the decadent days of R&R you read about
in Aerosmith memoirs. It was a hard decision to make, but our original
material wasn't going well so I chose to move on. With Larry Goddard-
lead vocals, Ed Rabold- drums, Martin Deemar- keys, Jon Androvics- guitar,
and Mark Baniuk at the board. Grizzly, Beav, Columbo, Cactus and Hari
          Nyman carried the load.
